• HSP is an association founded in 1976 by Father Laborde, acting in the field of education and health, which works for:

  • Reception in rehabilitation homes for children in difficulty and disabled children

  • The education of underprivileged children

  • Facilitate access to basic necessities care in slums

• HSP is present in the West Bengal region of India in three districts:

  • Howrah – Calcutta (rehabilitation homes, education & health)

  • Jalpaiguri (rehabilitation homes, education & health)

  • Asansol (rehabilitation & education homes)

• HSP IN FIGURES:

  • 450 disabled and non-disabled children in our 9  foyers.

• EDUCATION

  • More than 2,000 children educated in our 11 schools

  • 4 formal schools, 5 non-formal schools

  • 2 special schools for disabled children

• HEALTH SERVICES

  • 500 young mothers helped in slums

  • 4 mobile clinics to reach:

  • 46,000 people treated in rural areas every year

  • 1 health center for the long-term treatment of children with tuberculosis

  • 50 children with tuberculosis in long-term care each year
